Answer: There are several ways. A lot of time people will call us and say "hey, there is a great story involving a neighbor of mine." or " We're doing something really neat at this school, you may want to come out and cover this story." A lot of times we have a meeting after our shows and one question we always start out with is "What are people talking about?" That really determines a lot. If it is news worthy and people are talking about it, we want to make sure that we cover it. It might be a fluff story or a feature story but if that is what people are talking about most likely we'll be there. Obviously, we get press releases, there is breaking news, if it involves somebody who is a public figure we'll be there to cover it as well but mainly if people are talking about the story and they are interested in it, we will cover the story.
