My advice to young students, is to find a subject that is EXCITING, that they think is really COOL, that they really enjoy doing and then study that, follow that. The area that you are most interested in is the one that you will be able to do the most easiest for the rest of your life and then become as expert as possible in that area because we need all types of experts in order to go to Mars. We need doctors, physicists, farmers, we need veterinarians. We need all kinds of experts and while you are pursuing your interests in that area, always get as much experience as you can in other areas, too, because you never know what it is that you may be called on to do and it makes for the most fun life!
