When you take off in the space shuttle it is a wild, hard, aggressive, violent, exciting ride. One that you have been getting ready for for years but it only lasts 8 1/2 minutes from the time the engine lights until you are floating in space is only 8 1/2 minutes. So, it is quite a ride!
