How can being a musician be incorporated into helping taking care of our planet?

Well, musicians are sort of the announcers for some causes, and we've often (Blue Rodeo) been involved in certain causes or concerts that bring awareness to people, and I guess in terms of ecology, awareness is one of the key issues. Just making people aware of what they're doing; raising money is also important, but just making people aware of how they can rig their lives such that they don't cause so much trouble [to the environment]. And I think musicians can help in that as much as there are concerts and programs that need people that other people know as public figures, and they can do that. We've always been willing to do that.
