[Interview With Jim Cuddy]

[Q] You may know by now that Eddy The Eco-Dog surfs through the stars of the Universe to help kids learn cool stuff about Earth, and he was wondering what is your opinion of cats, and why do you feel that way?
[A] Eddy, Eddy, Eddy. I think Eddy has been spying on me from the satellites, because I have three cats. So obviously I have a really soft spot in my heart for them. All of my cats I've gotten from the SPCA; which is a really great place. Any pet it wonderful, but cats, for me, because I travel so much, are really low maintenance. They don't run to me in the morning with a leash wanted to run outside a pee on a tree. They're just lots of fun; my three cats play together really well, so it's always a rodeo. I can be sitting watching TV and a large tuft of hair will just go floating by and I'll think, "I can't believe a seven inch piece of hair just flyed by my head." So I vacuum a lot. I vacuum a lot. They're just great company. I remember being upset about four of five months ago; I was crying in bed about something. One of my little cats, her name is Sweet Pea, she came crawling up towards me and soft of started kneading at my chin, and licked all my tears away. They just like the salt, but I thought the sentiment was nice anyways. I stopped crying because it made me laugh because it tickled. They're just really great; I never feel like I'm by myself. They say you live longer if you have a cat; lowers your blood pressure. And Eddy will have to research this a little bit for me, but I know I'm right. Aren't I Eddy?
