Oh, boy. Well, there were some kids from school and we all wanted to do music, so I was a singer and my cousin was a background singer. We had a guitar player, a bass player and drums and we all got together. We didn't have a venue to play. One of the guys in the band lived near a junkyard so he knew a way to go over the fence. So we played just amongst tires and old cars and we'd actually have to throw some of the equipment over, someone would slip under the fence and we'd throw one of the drums over the fence and everyone would slip underneath. We used to get sometimes a hundred people a night. My Mom would never know where I was going. So we called it the "Junkyard Jam". So we had over 150, so we'd call it Junkyard Jam 1, 2. I'm not even sure where we got the power but we did.
